1.5.64 – New Wear OS 1.6.6 Watch app and more!

We submitted a new version of Gluroo (1.5.64) to the App and Play stores, and Wear OS Watch app 1.6.6 to the Play store.  These are very important bugfix and polish releases. In particular:

  • The phone app’s longstanding and frustrating login problems *may* be much better now after an important bugfix.
  • Several Tandem and Gluroo Global Connect bugfixes, and several server-side query framework improvements for reliability and robustness.
  • Basal reminders now show as reminder messages (like medicine reminders).  They still *ALSO* show as red banners, but that functionality is going away in an upcoming release. Logging a basal or a medicine later in the same day as a reminder for that will erase the reminder message.  Please let us know your feedback.
  • The Wear OS watch app
    • update frequency is much better, and the time to showing an update is much improved.
    • shows time since last reading in more places, and tries hard to keep that up to date.
    • now says “no recent data” or an age of stale data with an hourglass when data is stale (instead of “Not signed in”), and show this even for graphical BGL complications
    • now shows low readings as “<40” or “<2.2” instead of “39” (i.e., now it matches the phone app).
    • its interactive features (recording a dose of insulin or an intervention snack) now require long-pressing or swiping left the button.
    • now uses the Drop-Down-Status Chart’s BGL range for the watch’s BGL range.  You can drop this to “Limited” if your BGL varies less.
    • graphical display of the BGL uses the same font as the phone app now.  (Except on the Tile, where we have to use a system font.)
    • when first installed, the full chart will show with the first new reading instead of a single new reading at a time
  • We now send email messages (up to 3, 3 days apart) for LibreLinkUp actions required e.g., for needing to accept new terms & conditions or for no patients in the account you gave Gluroo.
  • Added machine translations for Russia
