Carb Ratio (CR)

Carb ratio is the amount of insulin needed to cover a specific amount of carbohydrates in a meal. For example, a person with diabetes might find that one unit of insulin can cover 10 grams of carbohydrates, resulting in a CR of 1:10. Individualized carb ratios help optimize post-meal glucose levels by matching insulin doses to carbohydrate intake
