Libre CGM Issues with Gluroo – Accepting New Terms and Conditions in the LibreLinkUp App

your Libre CGM data no longer appearing in Gluroo? Did Abbott recently do maintenance or update any of their apps? Here’s the scoop:

Whenever Abbott Diabetes Care does maintenance to their servers (see https://status.freestyle.abbott/), they also generally update their Terms and Conditions that are required to use LibreLinkUp (LLU). This can happen at any time, and you may not be notified by Abbott that these Terms have updated.

This makes it so that Gluroo is unable to fetch your CGM readings until you personally accept those new Terms and Conditions.

Luckily, we have some simple steps to resolve this:

  1. Ensure the LLU app is updated to the latest available version
  2. Open LLU, log out and log back into it, and accept any new terms and conditions in the app that pop up.
  3. If the above doesn’t work – uninstalling the LLU app and reinstalling the latest version and/or restarting your phone may each or all be necessary before the new terms show up.
  4. After that, you may also need to either restart your credentials in Gluroo (Menu > Settings > CGM tab), or remove them entirely and re-add them. Wait up to 15 minutes to see if new readings appear.

If none of the above works, please feel free to write in to us at help@gluroo.com and we’ll do our best to help you. Be sure to include your troubleshooting info from Menu > Help > Show Troubleshooting Info.

If You’re No Longer Using a Libre CGM

Go to Menu > Settings > CGM. Tap each of the “Freestyle Libre” options and check for filled-in username and password. If they exist, tap “Remove” underneath. Then, tap back to your new CGM (e.g. Dexcom G7).

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and thanks for using Gluroo!
