Glucose Management Indicator (GMI)

GMI is an alternative metric to A1C for assessing long-term glucose control. GMI is calculated based on CGM readings only, whereas A1C derived via a laboratory blood test. GMI provides an estimate of average blood glucose levels over time, helping individuals and healthcare providers make informed decisions about diabetes management.
