Frequently Asked Questions

Go to https://app.gluroo.com/clinicSignUp and set up your Pro account. It’s as simple as signing in with your Google or Apple email and entering your practice name and address. From there, you can invite your patients to connect using a simple code. All data that the patient tracks with Gluroo, including CGMs, activity trackers, meals, meds, and doses, will be visible along with insights to help you and your patient collaboratively manage their health.

Gluroo is currently available at no cost to patients and providers.

Gluroo complies with all HIPAA privacy, security, and breach notification regulations. Gluroo data resides in a HIPAA-compliant cloud, and all of our data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption and redundant, dedicated, HIPAA-compliant servers.

It’s simple for patients to get started: they just go to the Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iPhones) and download the Gluroo patient app. Alternatively, you can create an invite in your dashboard and share it with your patients through your EMR, by email, or using a printed PDF.

If patients need help, we are available during business hours at help@gluroo.com. In addition, we have a vibrant Facebook community where both Gluroo employees and customers offer suggestions and troubleshooting help for our users.

Once the patient has installed the Gluroo app, they can follow these instructions:
1. Select “Sharing” from the 3-line “hamburger” menu at the top right of the screen.

2. Select “Care Team” from the menu, then tap “Add Care Team.”
3. Enter your clinic’s code in the search box that appears.
4. Confirm their full name and birthdate and agree to share data. Then click Connect.
5. You will see a notice in your dashboard. Click Accept to add them to your roster.
