Gluroo 2.1.18

We submitted a new version of Gluroo (2.1.18) to the App and Play stores and it will be rolling out soon.  As indicated by the minor version bump to 2.1, we’ve updated a substantial number of the underlying framework libraries chasing better performance and reliability.  This version also some new features and has a large number of bugfixes and polish improvements, including:

  • The Plus button at the bottom of the Log tab has moved to the bottom right of the Tab bar, instead of being in the input control.  When you scroll back in time, that Plus button changes to a floating Plus button to let you see more of the log.  When you scroll back down, the bottom controls come back.  You can hold the Plus button and gesture West, Northwest, or North in order to open the Camera, Search, and Microphone (this is mostly for when the Plus button is floating but it works even when the plus button is in the embedded tab navigator).
  • The Bottom Tab Navigator features new Icons
  • The “Stats” Tab has been renamed to “Chart” and now contains a split-screen view of a newly-scrollable set of Stats tiles and a Chart.  The chart is vertically resizable and the settings for all the different kinds of charts are unique to that chart location (e.g., the Chart tab chart can be 9 hour view, and the Drop Down Status chart can be 5 hour view, etc.)
  • You can also now remove stats tiles that you don’t want to see to simplify that view (and you can add them back in, of course).
  • The Drop Down Status tray is now resizable – the “Current Status” tray that shows your IOB/FOB is resizable separately from the BG Chart DDS tray.
  • The subheader (with Pump information, etc.) now interacts much more sanely with the Drop Down Status, moving the DDS down/up when it opens/collapses.
  • The Meals tab has a new look that is a bit more organized.
  • As you scroll the Gluroo Event Log (GEL) the sticky header no longer includes macronutrients for the day and the date is now flush left instead of centered.
  • The chart labeling is more concise.  E.g., multiple bolus bars that are close in time only show one label with the sum of all those boluses, multiple changes in Omnipod 5 mode (e.g. Limited then Manual then Automatic) in close proximity now show a single “L A M” label instead of three separate labels. Intervention snacks show in a label that is an up-pointing trapezoid; basal doses show in a label that is a down-pointing trapezoid.
  • When you resize the chart to the shortest height, the text labels in the chart go away and are just shapes.
  • Finger scrubbing over the chart now has haptic feedback as you gesture over labeled events.
  • The chart’s line readout checkbox  “include future events in forecast simulation” is now in chart settings and not available inline in the chart (for space reasons).
  • Onboarding is improved with more encouragement and better UX.
  • The splash screen animation is fancier. 🙂
