If your child or loved one is using the Omnipod 5 app on an iPhone to manage their insulin, as a parent, caregiver, or school nurse, you can’t monitor the insulin delivery or pump status remotely. You’re left in the dark, unable to see insulin doses, meal announcements, bolus timing, or error alerts, which are crucial for ensuring safe and smooth diabetes management throughout day and night.
The Problem: Limited Access for iOS Caregivers
For families of children with Type 1 diabetes, having visibility into insulin doses is a critical safety and comfort factor.
